I believe this King of Hearts playing card dates between 1870 and 1875. Pre-1870 cards usually did not have corner indices or two-way court cards (the kings, queens, and jacks had legs). It also had square corners - round corners were not introduced until around 1875. It makes a beautiful poster because of the patina of the old, textured heavy stock paper and the clear block printing color method (not perfectly in the lines). Look closely at all of the details and get ready to level up your game room!
