This is a reproduction print assembled from pieces of original Disneyland blueprints. Now known as the Mark Train Riverboat, this 5/8 scale ship was originally called the Mark Twain Steamboat and was operational on opening day, 1955. Interestingly, this blueprint specifies a "capacity of approximately 450" persons. Just days after opening, the steamboat was almost capzised when operators allowed nearly 500 people to board. It came off of its track system and lodged in the muddy riverbank. After this incident, a max capacity of 300 riders was instituted and that remains the limit to this day. An amazing piece of Disneyland history to add to any room!
Available in "original" color, blueprint, & black & white. See pictures for color and size difference details.
